I am Beverly Johnson

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and in 1997 moved my family to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. I have been crafting and painting for over 40 years. Mostly self-taught; I use all available resources to improve with each stage. My first formal art instruction began in my freshman year of high school. Before entering my sophomore year I had begun to earn a few dollars painting popular animation designs on clothing for friends and family. Creating art was always my stress relief from a busy life. Although I worked in the corporate sector, a mother and wife, my love for creating art never wavered. I have had the pleasure of having my work displayed in the Brooklyn Children's museum, Citicorp, Philip Morris International, Philip Morris Globe, private collectors and at the Pocono Arts Gallery. In 2007, I was encouraged to expand my horizons by creating and selling more of my art pieces. During that time, the pieces created were either gifted, sold or showcased at my residence. Early 2016, my husband Mark and I teamed up and the Mobile Art journey began.
